Cashier Part Time
About The Position
As a Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure customers leave the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience and helping customers get value for their money. Most of the work takes place at the register, but you may also answer questions, assist with payments and exchanges, help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions can vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor weather, extreme temperatures, moisture, wind, noise, and moving equipment or objects.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
