About The Position

The Cashier position at Fatburger Excalibur involves handling monetary transactions, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean work area. This role requires accuracy, attentiveness, and a positive attitude. The position is full-time/part-time with variable shifts and includes a 180-day introductory period for performance evaluation. Excellent attendance and schedule flexibility are essential.

Requirements

English comprehension skills for safety, job instructions, policy, and guest service.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and read (see) for extended periods of time (8 hours+).
Ability to regularly and safely lift and move boxes, supplies, and materials weighing 25 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes limited movement environment.
Ability to maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements.
Excellent attendance is required.
Schedule flexibility determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

Be in proper uniform at all times (nametag, pants, hat, etc.) and wear a clean uniform.
Be on time for all scheduled shifts; attendance is essential. Follow all CALL IN procedures if absent.
Accurately handle monetary transactions, including counting back change to the guest.
Follow all cash register and cash/credit card handling procedures.
Smile and greet all guests, thank everyone that orders, and invite them back.
Listen carefully to the guest, take and repeat orders.
Suggestively sell items when opportunities arise.
Explain pager and numbering systems, where available.
Explain coupons or other offers to guests, as applicable.
Keep work area clean and neat, and do not stock personal items on counters.
Keep display case clean, stocked, and fresh looking.
Follow side duties set forth by management.
Maintain English comprehension skills for safety, job instructions, policy, and guest service.
Clean as you go, ensuring your area is presentable.
