Cashier - Rio Rancho (Part Time)
About The Position
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, processing transactions accurately, and preparing food according to company standards. This role requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment while ensuring food quality, sanitation, and compliance with food safety regulations. Cashiers are expected to operate the point-of-sale system, handle cash without discrepancies, verify identification for alcohol purchases, restock products, assist with inventory, and promote products to enhance sales. The position also involves building positive relationships with guests through friendly, efficient service and minimizing wait times by working with urgency and professionalism.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire
- Possess a valid New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced restaurant setting, including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, reaching
