About The Position

As a Lowe's cashier, you help customers leave the store with a positive experience by providing quick, friendly, and professional checkout service. You assist with self-checkout, payments, exchanges, customer questions, and other needs, helping customers get value for their money. Most of your time is spent at the register, though you may also help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

Requirements

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.
