About The Position

The Cashier is responsible for interacting with customers as they enter and exit the retail store. The primary function of the Cashier is to provide excellent customer service and accurately process customer transactions. The ability to work days, some evenings, and a rotating weekend and/or holiday schedule is needed with the focus being availability to work evening and rotating weekend schedules for this part-time role.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• Responsible for accurate cash handling.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Responsible for handling customer returns.
• Other duties as assigned
