About The Position

The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise. This role involves projecting a positive representation of Ace Retail Group, greeting and assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized front-end area. The Cashier will also assist with various store tasks as needed.

Requirements

High School or GED equivalent.
Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs), and climb.
Ability to exhibit and incorporate Core Values into daily decisions and interactions: Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility, and Teamwork.

Nice To Haves

Cashier experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Process register transactions for sales and returns.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Handle customer inquiries and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Maintain product knowledge and assist customers with store layout and product location.
Assist with pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging of merchandise.
Ensure the front end, including checkout areas and entrance doors, is neat and clean.
Stock and face impulse counters, rotate merchandise, and ensure fresh ads are stocked.
Maintain stock of forms and supplies.
Assist with front-end decorations.
Call for cart pickups and inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away.
Participate in store and Cashier meetings.
Adhere to cash register transaction procedures and balance the register drawer.
Implement Store Support Center programs and promotions at the registers.
