About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Cashier to join our team at Weatherford ACE Home Center in Weatherford, OK. This role involves operating the point-of-sale system, greeting customers, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining store appearance and promotions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Ability to count change back
- Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to detail, accuracy is key
Nice To Haves
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Retail cashier experience is a plus
- Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
- Professional telephone skills
- Knowledge of merchandise
Responsibilities
- Run POS (point of sale) register
- Greeting customers upon entry of store
- Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner)
- Keep up with store promotions and special events
- Understanding store layout and location of products
- Cleaning and stocking impulse and endcap merchandise
- Following store procedures, opening and closing
- Answer telephone
- Help load merchandise for customers
- Help check in freight
- Organize point of purchase material, maintain bin tags, shelf labels, and peg hooks
