About The Position

As a Lowe's cashier, you help ensure every customer leaves the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience and helping customers get value for their money. Most of your time is spent at the register, assisting with payments and exchanges, answering questions, and supporting self-checkout. As needed, you may also help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation. The position pays $15.00–$16.20 per hour; starting pay may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience. Occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed, though regular travel is not required.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in the applicable state.

Responsibilities
