About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Cashier to join our team at Weatherford ACE Home Center in Weatherford, OK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the point of sale system, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining store appearance. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Ability to count change back
- Professional telephone skills
- Knowledge of merchandise
- Attention to detail, accuracy is key
Nice To Haves
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Retail cashier experience is a plus
- Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
Responsibilities
- Run POS (point of sale) register
- Greeting customers upon entry of store
- Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner)
- Keep up with store promotions and special events
- Understanding store layout and location of products
- Cleaning and stocking impulse and endcap merchandise
- Following store procedures, opening and closing
- Answer telephone
- Help load merchandise for customers
- Help check in freight
- Organize point of purchase material, maintain bin tags, shelf labels, and peg hooks
