About The Position

High Flying Foods is looking for Cashiers to join their Market Hall and Ambrogio15 Restaurants located at San Diego International Airport. The role involves joining a dynamic and positive team environment, maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence. This position requires open availability from 4:30 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days a week.

Requirements

1+ year of experience as a barista or cashier in food service
Strong customer service and cash-handling skills
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, management, and customers
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of the shift
A valid Food Handler’s Card (or willingness to obtain during training as required by law)

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service
Accurately enter orders and process payment
Ensure all orders are delivered to the customer in a timely manner
Count in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive customer experience and workplace efficiency
Follow all safety protocols intended to keep team members and customers safe
Respond to customer inquiries and refer to management when applicable
Properly stock, and maintain station and cleaning duties as assigned by store management
Other duties as assigned
