The Cashier is responsible for receiving money from and disbursing money to customers, while maintaining a high level of customer service at all times. This role involves identifying items and their costs, tabulating bills accurately, issuing receipts and change, maintaining the cash register, and ensuring a clean and orderly retail environment. The Cashier will also interact with customers, answer questions, provide information about products and policies, and maintain awareness of safety issues.
