About The Position

The Cashier interacts with the customer by greeting and assisting them at the point of sale and once the transaction is complete then thanking them for their business. Answering the phone and acting as operators to connect parties is sometimes required. This is a highly visible position and it is most important the individual is personable, friendly and courteous at all times. It requires the ability to interact well with customers, salespeople, office manager, and all other employees. Good memorization skills are needed.

Requirements

• Basic education that includes the ability to competently read and write.
• Must be able to count back change accurately.

Nice To Haves

• Cashier experience (typing, and keypunch skills) is preferred.
• Cashiering skills and building industry knowledge are preferred.
