About The Position

A Lowe’s cashier ensures customers have a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience and leave satisfied. The role primarily works at the register, assisting with payments and exchanges, answering questions, and helping customers get value for their money. Other duties may include helping in other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts as needed. The position may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, varied and sometimes extreme weather, noise, and moving equipment or objects.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Responsibilities
