About The Position
Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is seeking a Parts Cashier to join their team in Whittier, CA. This role is responsible for receiving payments from customers purchasing parts and performing various clerical duties. VVG is a rapidly expanding organization representing a premium commercial brand in medium to heavy truck dealerships, offering a full-service experience and aiming to be the ultimate one-stop shop for truckers and fleets.
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check
Nice To Haves
- Cashiering experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Receive payments from customers
- Print invoices
- Update customer files
- Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones and assisting customers
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Greets customers immediately in a courteous manner
- Treats customers fairly and honestly and demonstrates company’s commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices
