About The Position
As the face of our café, you’ll welcome guests, take orders, and help create an experience as comforting as a fresh pastry on a chilly morning. At La Madeleine, we’re looking for enthusiastic Cashiers who bring warmth, energy, and a friendly smile to every guest interaction.
Requirements
- A positive, upbeat attitude and love for guest service
- Strong communication and people skills
- Accuracy and comfort handling cash/POS systems
- Energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

- Prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus - but not required!
Responsibilities
- Greet Guests with Joy - Be the first warm welcome they experience.
- Take Accurate Orders - Enter orders quickly and precisely in our POS system.
- Handle Payments with Care - Process cash, card, and digital payments smoothly.
- Keep it Clean & Cozy - Maintain a tidy register area and front-of-house atmosphere.
- Know the Menu - Guide guests with confidence about our delicious offerings.
- Offer a Little Extra - Suggest sides, drinks, or pastries to enhance the meal.
- Solve with a Smile - Address guest concerns with professionalism and kindness.
- Team Player - Support teammates and jump in wherever needed.
