This is a dual role position requiring the individual to perform duties as both a Cashier and a Deli Clerk. As a Cashier, responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, processing transactions, handling payments, monitoring merchandise, and maintaining the cleanliness of the register area. As a Deli Clerk, duties involve preparing and displaying ready-to-eat products, adhering to company and regulatory guidelines, and providing excellent customer service. The role also includes tasks such as filling propane tanks, managing product displays and stock, cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment, and preparing hot food items. Special orders and customer requests are also part of the customer service aspect of this role.
