Requirements

Excellent customer service is essential. Cashiers should have strong interpersonal skills, be friendly, patient, and able to effectively communicate with customers.
Cashiers need to be accurate when processing transactions, handling cash, and recording sales. Attention to detail is crucial to avoid mistakes.
Familiarity with using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems is important. This includes knowing how to count money, provide correct change, and operate relevant equipment.
Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays
Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
Able to work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environment

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Accurately handle cash and card transactions, including operating a cash register.
Ensure order accuracy and timely service.
Answer customer questions and provide information about menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth order flow.
Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance customer experience.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and a commitment to resolving issues promptly.
