About The Position

As a part-time Lowe’s cashier, you help customers leave the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience and helping them get the best value for their money. Most of your time will be spent at the register, but you may also answer customer questions, assist with payments and exchanges, and help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation. The position may require occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme temperatures, moisture, wind, noise, and moving equipment or objects.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
