About The Position

This position is responsible for selling, distributing, and marketing store items and products to optimize the cooperative’s efficiency. The Cashier will assist in achieving the cooperative’s mission and goals by performing tasks with outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the facility.

Requirements

• Excellent cash handling skills
• Be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Be able to stand for a long period of time, bend, kneel, and have good finger and wrist dexterity

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in setting and helping achieve monthly sales goals
• Follow all Allied Cooperative, federal, and state policies and procedures
• Handle complaints in a timely and appropriate manner
• Assist in checking in product deliveries and maintaining stock of products
• Operate a cash till and be able to balance cash drawers
• Ensure that the facility and equipment remains in good repair and appearance
• Maintain a clean and orderly store
• All other duties assigned by manager
