About The Position

As a Cashier, you provide efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane, creating positive, memorable experiences for Meijer customers. You are the last point of contact customers have before leaving the store and help turn everyday interactions into meaningful moments. The role involves learning Meijer programs and promotions, using store systems to complete transactions, handling payments responsibly, answering questions, resolving concerns, and supporting other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
Comfortable learning and using technology.
Able to listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
