About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help customers leave the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, professional checkout experience and helping them get value for their money. Most of your time is spent at the register, but you may also answer questions, help with payments and exchanges, assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor weather, varying climates, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting requirements vary; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, and team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
