About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring Customer Service Associates to provide customer service and support store operations at its Sanibel, Florida location. The cashier is the face of the store, providing fast, friendly service while helping keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly. The role may involve part-time or full-time work, and open availability is preferred. The posting lists pay of $16.75 per hour for a Customer Service Associate and $17.75 per hour for a Lead CSA. Prepaid tolls of $6.00 per day are provided. Benefits are available to full-time employees only.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours.
Able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and climb ladders.
Willing to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Basic math and computer skills.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid-card transactions.
Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, inside and out.
Operate and maintain coffee, fountain drink, and hot food machines.
Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
Follow safety and loss-prevention procedures.
Help customers with pumps, the car wash, or the air hose as needed.
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
Follow age-restricted sale laws for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery products.
Complete required training and shift duties.
