About The Position

This job contributes to Earl of Sandwich and Harrah’s Southern California Resort success by providing fast, friendly and Exceptional Customer Service to all guests with quality food, products and maintaining a clean and comfortable and safe store environment. Our team members are required to have basic knowledge about health and learn about all fresh products to effectively educate our guest. The team member is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Earl of Sandwich Guiding Principles and with Harrah’s Southern California Resort’s Mission Values and Vision.

Requirements

At least three months previous money handling and cash register experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
18 years of age.
Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
Ability to work any day of the week and any shift.
Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Present a well-groomed appearance.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Providing fast, friendly and Exceptional Customer Service to all guests with quality food, products and maintaining a clean and comfortable and safe store environment.
Having basic knowledge about health and learning about all fresh products to effectively educate our guest.
Modeling and acting in accordance with Earl of Sandwich Guiding Principles and with Harrah’s Southern California Resort’s Mission Values and Vision.
Working inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.
Lifting items up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.
Using hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters.
Completing required “side work”.
Listening and responding to visual and aural cues.
Helping on the deli line, if needed.
Working in other food service outlets.
