About The Position

This position involves operating a cash register, Oregon lottery machine, and credit card terminals. The cashier will greet and assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and help with fuel dispensers. Responsibilities also include accounting for all monies, cigarettes, and lottery tickets, stocking and pricing merchandise, checking expiration dates, facing product, checking in vendors, and writing checks. The role requires leadership skills and the ability to run fuel dispensers and dispense propane. The cashier will also learn and maintain all processes associated with the position, including paperwork and scheduling, and foster a team environment with other employees and departments. A high level of customer service and a friendly atmosphere are expected. Light janitorial duties such as collecting and disposing of trash, washing windows, and cleaning/maintaining equipment, lot, restrooms, fountain area, and building interior/exterior are also part of the role, along with other duties as needed to maintain a clean and professional environment.
