About The Position

As a Cashier, you are an important part of the customer experience. You’ll create a friendly and welcoming checkout experience while making sure each transaction is accurate and efficient.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with and helping people.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and hardworking.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a great customer experience: Greet every customer with a smile and provide friendly, fast, and helpful service.
• Keep checkout moving: Process purchases, scan and bag merchandise, and handle payments accurately.
• Connect customers with Fleet Farm programs: Share Fleet Rewards, credit card offers, and Extended Protection Plans.
• Keep it looking great: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
• Be a team player: Jump in, support your teammates, and help wherever you’re needed.
• Protect the business: Follow company policies and help reduce shrink.
• Bring the GRIT: Show up with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and Midwestern GRIT every shift.
