About The Position
As a Lowe’s cashier, you provide customers with a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience, helping them get the best value and leave the store satisfied. Most of your time is spent at the register, but you may also answer questions, assist with payments and exchanges, help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in the state.
Nice To Haves
- Retail and/or customer service experience.
- Bilingual skills.
Responsibilities
