About The Position

Looking for a part-time job with a consistent schedule and daytime hours? Join the team at Stoltzfus Meats as a Cashier and help create a friendly, welcoming experience for our customers. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing great customer service. Previous cashier or retail experience is helpful, but not required-we're happy to train the right person. Set Schedule: Mondays and Saturdays, 6:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. The same consistent schedule each week.

Requirements

• Is dependable and arrives ready to work.
• Enjoys interacting with customers.
• Can provide friendly service even when things get busy.
• Pays attention to accuracy and details.
• Can work independently while also being part of a team.
• Is comfortable standing for extended periods during the shift.
• Is available every Monday and Saturday from 6:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Accurately ring up purchases and process payments.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and ready for customers.
• Bag purchases carefully and efficiently.
• Answer basic customer questions and direct customers when needed.
• Help keep displays and nearby areas stocked and presentable.
• Work with the rest of the team to keep things running smoothly during busy periods.
