As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. While both part-time and full-time positions generally focus on being a cashier, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. Internally, you will be referred to Front End Team Member and report to the store management team. This role involves processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty programs, and bagging products. You will also deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services. The role requires participation in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge and maintaining knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs. Additionally, you will ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met across the store and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol. This position may be coded as a seasonal role, meaning it could be short-term (no longer than six months) with the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.
