About The Position

As a part-time Lowe's cashier, you help customers finish their shopping experience with a quick, friendly, and professional checkout. You support customers and communities by helping them get value for their money and ensuring they leave satisfied. Most of your time is spent at the register, though you may also help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role suits someone who enjoys helping customers and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. The position may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include inside and outside weather, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking equipment. Associates follow lifting guidelines, use powered equipment as required, and receive proper training or assistance when needed.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Nice To Haves
