About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a part-time Cashier, also referred to as a Customer Service Associate, in Pembroke Pines. The Cashier is the face of the store and provides fast, friendly customer service while helping keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly. The role includes operating a point-of-sale system, supporting customers with store and forecourt needs, maintaining food and beverage equipment, and completing training and shift duties. Pay is $15 per hour. The posting offers flexible schedules, paid on-the-job training, career growth opportunities, and a team-oriented workplace. Benefits are available to full-time employees only.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours.
Able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders.
Willing to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Basic math and computer skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid card transactions.
Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, inside and outside.
Operate and maintain coffee, fountain drink, and hot food machines.
Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
Follow safety and loss-prevention procedures.
Assist customers with the pump, car wash, or air hose as needed.
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
Follow age-restricted sale laws for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery products.
Complete required training and shift duties.
