About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure every customer leaves the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, professional checkout and helping customers get the best value. Most of your time is spent at the register, answering questions and assisting with payments and exchanges. You may also help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Working conditions vary by location and can include indoor and outdoor weather, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
