About The Position
LV Petroleum operates a chain of travel centers that includes a variety of food services, fueling options, and guest amenities. We are seeking Cashiers/Team Members at our Salina, KS travel center to enhance our customer service team at our travel center locations. If you're a people person with a knack for excellent service, this role could be a great fit for you! As Cashier/Team Member at LV Petroleum, you will be responsible for efficiently processing customer transactions while providing outstanding customer service. Your friendly demeanor and ability to engage with customers will make a difference in their overall experience.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for transaction processing and cash handling.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Must be reliable and flexible, with the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Energetic and positive attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assist with their purchases, and answer questions regarding products and promotions.
- Accurately process cash, debit, and credit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Keep the cashier and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective service delivery and a smooth checkout experience.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed.
