About The Position

This position involves fast-paced, detail-oriented processing of transactions with accuracy and efficiency at check out. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers and a close team of staff. Cashiers provide information about becoming a member as well as store policies and procedures with a friendly welcoming attitude. There are occasional opportunities to assist in other departments based on the needs of the store including grocery, bulk, produce, and the deli.

Requirements

• Retail experience
• Strong communication skills
• Money handling experience
• Demonstrated efficient service experience with a high level of accuracy
• Flexibility when service priorities shift during the day
• Knowledge of natural foods with a desire to learn more

Responsibilities

• Processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency at check out.
• Providing information about becoming a member.
• Explaining store policies and procedures.
• Assisting in other departments such as grocery, bulk, produce, and the deli as needed.
