South Lake Tahoe Ace Hardware is seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate to join their team. Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Possess a willingness to learn.
Experience establishing relationships and working with customers.
Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Nice To Haves

Will train high school students.
Trade skills accompanied by a personality that will support our Core Values and mission is a plus but will train.
Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Drive sales by consistently providing world-class customer service.
Put "Customers First, Tasks Second."
Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers.
Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
Continually work on increasing knowledge of the products sold and their uses.
Utilize merchandising skills and abilities.
Recognize and notify management of merchandising issues, stock problems, pricing concerns, labeling and signage issues within the area of responsibility or the store as a whole.
