About The Position

Lordco Auto Parts is seeking a full-time, entry-level Cashier / Junior Automotive Parts Representative for their North Vancouver, BC location. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy customer interaction and want to start a career in customer service within Canada's largest privately held automotive parts distributor. The company has over 85 store locations across Western Canada and has been a family-owned business since 1974. Requirements

Ability to lift items up to 50lbs
Must be able to work full-time

Nice To Haves

Cash-handling and customer service experience is preferred
0-2 years of automotive and/or sales experience preferred, or currently enrolled in a post-secondary automotive program
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive manner in person and over the phone
Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Be the first friendly face that customers engage with
Process cash register payments by cash, cheque, debit, credit card, and gift card
Balance cash register as well as handle and calculate financial paperwork
Maintain showroom inventory and workspace cleanliness
Process refunds and returns
Provide aftermarket auto part & accessory recommendations using your automotive knowledge
Work diligently with fellow staff at the store, region, and organization levels in order to source, order and deliver the right solutions for our customers
