About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Cashier/Gas Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, assisting customers at the fuel pumps, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately
- Assist customers with fuel purchases and pump operation when needed
- Stock merchandise and maintain store displays
- Monitor fuel pump area and report any issues
- Keep the store, restrooms, and outside areas clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
