About The Position

We are currently hiring friendly, motivated Full-Time & Part-Time Cashiers / Front of House Team Members to join the team at our new Slim Chickens restaurant in Ankeny, IA!

We are looking for full-time and part-time Cashiers / Front of House Team Members. We are particularly looking for Cashiers / Front of House Team Members, and we pay a competitive wage:

Front of House: $14.00 to $17.00 per hour

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints
• No restaurant experience is required; we will train you!

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
• Taking orders on the drive thru headset
• Taking orders on the point of sale in the lobby
• Interacting with all guests in a friendly manner
• Managing transactions using a cash register
• Balancing the cash register
• Accepting payments in cash, credit or check
• Providing change and receipts
• Filling drinks and making shakes
• Processing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaints
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate
