About The Position

We are seeking a Cashier/Food Runner to join our dynamic Cafe team. As a Cashier/Food Runner, you will serve as the primary liaison between the kitchen and the customer. Your responsibilities will include taking customer orders, setting and clearing tables, delivering food, and ensuring seamless communication between the front of house and back of house operations. If you possess a friendly demeanor, a strong work ethic, and a keen interest in entering the hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30 pounds
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position is preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve customers their meals and drinks in an efficient manner
• Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff
• Refill drinks
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
