About The Position
Scratch Bakery Cafe located in Fashion Island is seeking team players who have a great attitude, are reliable and have a strong work ethic. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with the public. In addition to a passion for superior customer service, qualified candidates must be able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Possession of California Food Handlers Certificate required or the ability to obtain with 14 days of hire. Hourly wage plus considerable tips.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience preferred but not necessary.
- Prior espresso-drink preparation experience preferred but not necessary.
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Possession of California Food Handlers Certificate required or the ability to obtain with 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities
- Customer service functions including greeting customers and ensuring a clean and satisfying experience.
- Making espresso drinks for customers.
- High level of customer interaction.
- Keeping the store clean.
- Maintaining the presentation of our goods.
- Taking deli orders and communicating with the Deli Staff to ensure quick and accurate delivery of food orders.
