About The Position

Cash Vault Tellers process cash deposits and provide change fulfillment services, with a focus on accuracy and excellent customer service. The role requires safe operation of cash-processing equipment, accurate handling and tracking of deposits and vault assets, and protection of negotiables and confidential records. Tellers are expected to communicate professionally, keep their processing area orderly, and work in a manner consistent with Empyreal Logistics’ vision, values, and WOW culture.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Accuracy and good math skills.
Ability to use a computer and cash-processing equipment.
Ability to lift 30 pounds and sometimes participate in a team lift of around 50 pounds.
Professionalism, politeness, courtesy, and willingness to help the team.
Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of teller, vault teller, cage cashier, lead cashier, or equivalent cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain positive, friendly, and professional communications with co-workers and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, and other electronic means.
Safely operate cash-processing equipment and keep equipment in good working order.
Accurately and efficiently count and log clients’ deposits in the teller software system.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track deposits.
Prepare currency and coin orders.
Accurately count and track all vault assets.
Ensure the safety of negotiables and confidential records.
Notify a supervisor or manager promptly of delays, issues, concerns, or problems.
Maintain a clean and orderly teller processing area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Work in partnership within and across workgroups.
Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
