This role is for a Cash Posting Lead who will be responsible for ensuring payments flow smoothly and accurately for two hospitals. The position offers the opportunity to master cash posting and account reconciliation, mentor a team, troubleshoot issues, and elevate the entire process. Requirements

• An Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience with cash posting and account reconciliation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in patient accounting systems and spreadsheets (Excel).
• Solid keyboard skills and ability to navigate a 10-key keypad.
• Detail-oriented approach to financial tasks.
• Leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient and third-party remittances, ensuring payments are posted with precision.
• Reconcile daily and monthly transactions between billing entities.
• Ensure payments and contractual allowances meet the high standards set by University Health, while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Cash Posters, serving as their go-to resource for guidance and troubleshooting.
• Identify issues when something does not add up, keeping everything on track and reporting irregularities.
• Monitor daily and monthly reports to identify opportunities for streamlining the process and improving efficiency.
