Requirements

• Excels at proofreading, spotting inconsistencies and proactively resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email while documenting requests.
• Comfortable navigating, entering data, creating basic charts and using formulas in excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Experience with wires is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and accurately research, review, and process payments from various sources along with loss and loss recoveries.
• Research and resolve unidentified transactions in the cash suspense ledger and assist in reconciliation process of suspense items.
• Coordinate the daily department balancing spreadsheet and review transactions identified in the payment exception reports.
• Assist in researching and resolving items in general ledger accounts, including processing necessary entries to clear outstanding amounts.
• Process complex payment/account transactions, adjustments, and reconciling items.
• Manage department email box and distribute items to team members for processing and handle complex requests.
• Promptly and accurately process requests and/or respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Take corrective action as necessary to resolve issues.
• Prepare and/or maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation within area of responsibility.
• Help coordinate and assist with department meetings along with training and development of team members.
