About The Position

The Cash Counting Associate's role is to assist in duties of counting cash, in addition to supporting the operational duties of replenishment and pricing & signing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying active, and finds satisfaction in order and process. The associate will be a key part of the behind-the-scenes operations that ensure the store runs smoothly.

Requirements

1-2 years of retail experience
Ability to solve problems and make smart decisions that drive sales, profit or customer service.

Responsibilities

Assist in counting cash using an automated machine.
Sort and count bills.
Ensure change is available and bank deposits are ready daily.
Track money coming in and out of the Cash Room.
Process customer refunds.
Replenish and restock the store by pulling and preparing merchandise to ensure availability of styles and sizes.
Receive and unload merchandise from trucks with co-workers.
Prepare merchandise in the backroom.
Execute pricing and signing on merchandise across the store.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized stockroom.
Support company Shrink and Safety Initiatives, Profit, Productivity, and Attendance.
