About The Position

Responsible for the daily distribution, acceptance and reconciliation of till bags; processing deposits and disbursement of monies through accurate money tracking, security and balancing; compiling daily statistical reports and maintaining appearance of facility while providing exceptional and courteous guest service.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to work 5 days a week, including weekends
Accurate and precise cash handling and calculating abilities
Strong mathematical skills; able to use whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Understands and demonstrates the importance of attention to details and internal controls

Nice To Haves

Previous experience using Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
Work experience in a bank, loss prevention and/or cash vault setting preferred

Responsibilities

Following Cash Control Policies and Procedures
Operating equipment including coin roller, coin counter and currency counter
Processing tills in and out of control room
Verifying and calculating safe balances
Proficient in opening procedures: opening building, verifying safe, preparing deposit and distribution of till bags
Proficient in closing procedures: accepting till bags, refilling tills, batching, processing tills, paying back safe and securing building
Processing petty cash requests
Monitors and maintains correspondence of department email
Performs vending procedures including preparing, processing and depositing
Accurately reports all relevant cashier information to loss prevention
Understands and Reports Information on the Sales Report accurately
Assist in training of new employees
Maintains internal controls and reports discrepancies
Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of facilities
