Cash Applications Lead
About The Position
The Cash Applications Team Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day cash posting operations and ensuring accurate, timely application of payments and adjustments. This role serves as a subject matter expert in cash application workflows and provides leadership, training, and quality oversight for the Cash Applications team. Extensive experience using Epic Systems is required. Handles confidential information; Maintains HIPAA privacy standards regarding patient account information. Performs all work in accordance to the mission, vision and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cash applications, payment posting, or revenue cycle operations
- Epic experience required (cash posting, lockbox, EFT/ERA workflows)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior lead, senior, or supervisory experience
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare revenue cycle environment
- Experience working with bank lockbox vendors and correspondence posting
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle cash application processes
- Advanced proficiency in Epic cash posting workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
