About The Position

The Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for the daily application/reconciliation of cash receipts for credit card, ACH, wire and lockbox transactions, reviews posting to ensure payment is applied appropriately, reconciliations and money transfers. The company is a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 300 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
2-year degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
Expertise in Excel and experience with modular accounting systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within mission critical deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
Must be willing to work long hours and weekends if necessary.
Must be able to perform well under pressure.
Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

Daily application/reconciliation of cash receipts for credit card, ACH, wire and lockbox transactions.
Review posting to ensure payment is applied appropriately.
Perform reconciliations and money transfers.
Book all daily cash activity via journal entry.
Post cash and perform General Ledger transfers.
Work in multiple ERP systems with basic understanding of money transference.
Work with and understand multiple bank accounts.
Daily reconciliation of daily cash posting to daily bank deposit.
Understand remit information from a customer payment.
Assist with month-end close and reporting.
Interface with internal and external auditors as required.
Reconcile customer accounts as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
