About The Position

Provides support for individualized programs for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities, ages 6 months and older, in natural settings. This role involves maintaining a minimum of 28 billable hours per week, providing direct ABA therapy, and supporting continuity of care by filling coverage gaps as needed. There is no cap on direct therapy hours based on clinic needs. The Case Supervisor serves as a go-to clinical support for high-acuity or escalated client situations, assists with the implementation of behavior intervention plans under BCBA direction, and provides in-the-moment modeling and support to RBTs during challenging sessions. The role also focuses on helping to stabilize cases at risk of disruption, staff turnover, or poor outcomes, collaborating with the BCBA to ensure treatment integrity, and supporting data collection accuracy and session quality. Additionally, the Case Supervisor provides real-time coaching and modeling for Behavior Technicians, supports the onboarding and skill development of newer staff, reinforces clinical standards and expectations within sessions, and completes all session documentation in accordance with company and payer requirements. Ensuring timely session note completion and data integrity, as well as supporting BCBAs in identifying documentation or implementation gaps, are key responsibilities. Active participation in both direct and indirect clinical support activities is expected.

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification, or willingness to obtain certification
  • Active enrollment in a BCBA or BCaBA certification program (required)
  • Minimum of 2+ years ABA experience
  • Strong clinical implementation skills across a variety of learners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-behavior situations effectively
  • Familiar with the field of autism intervention, and knowledgeable of other community resources and agencies that serve children.
  • Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.
  • Able to be approved for telehealth services.
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Able to exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment.
  • Able to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Able to obtain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice.
  • Able to obtain a CPR certificate.
  • Able to travel to multiple work sites; reliable transportation required (proof of valid driver license, current auto insurance identification card, and acceptable driving record per NIAC standards is required).
