About The Position

The Case Specialist I in one of ISC's retail divisions is tasked with handling incoming inquiries from policy holders and providing top notch customer service to address their needs, problem solve and ensure the best experience possible. Requirements

  • Associate Degree and/or currently pursuing or obtained Property & Casualty Insurance license.
  • 1 year in commercial insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in a customer service-related field
  • 2 years utilizing Microsoft Office and/or digital CRM system.
  • Demonstrated oral & written communication skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and producing or responding to customer inquiries for Certificates of Insurance, Additional Insured and related special wording endorsements, and their associated policy changes with related premiums, such as Buy-Backs, Limit Increases, Class Code and Description of Operations Changes, or other policy changes.
  • Liaising between the customer and their customer/hiring agency, addressing special coverage requirements and strategizing for possible solutions to meet their contractual needs; liaising communications between underwriting and the customer, breaking down insurance terminology into language that is easy for the customer to understand.
  • Administering policy entry of products that are sold by the New Business sales team, ensuring pinpoint accuracy of the data entered.
  • Partnering with agent and customer to provide job specifics and/or details that require the customer to purchase a new, customized policy or other lines of business necessary to fulfill their contractual obligations; partnering with customer support teammates, providing training, guidance, and clear communication which include quality records of the case’s interactions and transactions, attaching details/source documents in our agency management system that will ensure a seamless case handling if the case specialist is unavailable.
