About The Position

This role involves operating electric pallet jack equipment to assemble customer orders, adhering to all safety standards, policies, and procedures. The Case Picker will deliver product to the required area and is responsible for performing pre-use safety inspections on equipment. They will use a headset-based voice command system for accurate product selection and build stable pallets, often exceeding 5 feet in height. The position requires manually shrink-wrapping pallets, labeling materials, and staging/delivering completed orders. Identifying and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect product is also a key responsibility. Additional duties may include operating other warehouse machinery and collaborating with team members to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven warehouse environment
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
  • Ability to give voice commands in English (required for voice-directed picking systems)
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F / -25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F / 37°C in dry storage while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs / 18 kgs (weight may vary by facility)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
  • Comfortable working around varying noise levels, which can be loud at times
  • Basic math skills

Responsibilities

  • Operate electric pallet jack ride-along equipment (single and double) to pick, build, and transport customer orders
  • Perform required pre-use safety inspections on electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
  • Use headset-based voice command systems to accurately select products by lot number and product code
  • Build safe, stable pallets, frequently exceeding 5 feet in height, following proper stacking and safety guidelines
  • Manually shrink-wrap completed pallets to secure product for transport
  • Label and mark materials with identifying information
  • Stage and deliver completed orders to designated shipping or staging areas
  • Identify, report, and communicate damaged, missing, or incorrect product to inventory control or a lead/supervisor
  • Operate other warehouse machinery and material handling equipment as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals
  • Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment
  • Mark materials with identifying information
  • Open boxes and other containers when necessary
  • Pick products and make sure it shows the correct selection of lot numbers/product codes
  • Record amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory
  • Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly
  • Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor
  • Work with other machinery and material handling equipment
