Pay: $19.00-21.00 DOE Job Description KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate electric pallet jack ride-along equipment (single and double) to pick, build, and transport customer orders Perform required pre-use safety inspections on electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment Use headset-based voice command systems to accurately select products by lot number and product code Build safe, stable pallets, frequently exceeding 5 feet in height, following proper stacking and safety guidelines Manually shrink-wrap completed pallets to secure product for transport Label and mark materials with identifying information Stage and deliver completed orders to designated shipping or staging areas Identify, report, and communicate damaged, missing, or incorrect product to inventory control or a lead/supervisor ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate other warehouse machinery and material handling equipment as assigned Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven warehouse environment Basic math skills and strong attention to detail Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics Ability to give voice commands in English (required for voice-directed picking systems) Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F / -25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F / 37°C in dry storage while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs / 18 kgs (weight may vary by facility) Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed Comfortable working around varying noise levels, which can be loud at times KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment Mark materials with identifying information Open boxes and other containers when necessary Pick products and make sure it shows the correct selection of lot numbers/product codes Record amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work with other machinery and material handling equipment MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) Basic math skills Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics Ability to give voice commands in English may be required Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
