The Employment Institute, Auberle’s nationally recognized workforce development program, focuses on placing unemployed and underemployed individuals in career track employment with benefits. This role involves an exciting expansion in the Central Pennsylvania Region, specifically supporting young people (ages 18-24) in the healthcare field. The Case Manager will assist in screening and assessing participants' skills and interests, developing work ethic and soft skills, addressing barriers to employment, and providing mentoring. The position also involves building relationships with community partners and employers to support participant employment.

Requirements

  • ACT 33/34 and FBI Clearances
  • Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, and proof of insurance
  • Reliable transportation for frequent travel across multiple counties (approximately 75% of the time).

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but related experience working with young adults would be accepted

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of program participants across two counties, conducting eligibility assessments, collecting paperwork and vital documents, making home visits, and delivering one-on-one case management services to identify skills, interests, and barriers to employment.
  • Travel 75% of the time to meet participants in person, support their career readiness, and ensure engagement in the program.
  • Assist participants in developing strong work ethic, soft skills, and other necessary competencies that will increase their employability and career advancement potential.
  • Help participants identify and overcome personal or professional barriers that prevent them from achieving their employment goals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized case plans and track progress toward goals and provide ongoing guidance.
  • Serve as a dynamic role model and mentor, demonstrating leadership and support throughout the participants’ journeys.
  • Collaborate with Auberle staff, employer partners, and community organizations to find innovative solutions to help participants secure high-quality jobs with benefits.
  • Engage with local businesses to foster partnerships and facilitate job placements for participants.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of participant progress, documentation of services, and case management activities in compliance with Auberle’s policies and the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS).
  • Attend team meetings and engage with employer partners to share best practices and strategies for successful program outcomes.
  • Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations related to case management.
